Cedar, Foxy Boy, The Airedale Wannabe
May 24, 2009.
Cedar, the Airedale wannabe. A life too short- but he lived every day to the fullest. We miss you buddy. Alice and Dave and Lydia.
Carmen
June 1, 2009.
A gracious lady who brought joy to all who knew her. She loved riding in her Jeep and watching the sunset over the Olympics. She is in our hearts forever.
Bruni
Feburary 1994 - March 2009. Brunhilde, the Airedale, better known as Bruni, left us today peacefully eating chicken. Her body gave out before her mind did. She was fifteen years and one month. A true Valkyrie in spirit, she and her best friend, Belle, had a lovely last walk in Central Park at sunset, during which Bruni still wanted to attack three dogs. R I P, Bruni.
Beamer
March 6, 2006 - January 3, 2009. Beamer Hammond of Kingston, Washington crossed over the Rainbow Bridge after being attacked by a very aggressive form of cancer called Hemangiosarcoma. Beamer was the son of Blackheath's Max and Sugar. After being expelled from formal school, Beamer was home-schooled by his mortal parents Dave and Lynn Hammond. After graduation, Beamer enjoyed a short but very successful career of counter surfing and toliet slurping. His hobbies including pilfering fresh baked goods and uprooting anything recently placed into potting soil. Beamer was very fond of walks on the beach with his sister (in a West Virginia kind of way), Tessie, also of the famed Blackheath line. His evenings were often spent with his big beautiful black nose on Dave's lips. Of his many talents, his greatest one was melting hearts. Survivors include Tessie, Dave, Lynn, his mortal brother Kyle O'Brien and countless other devoted admirers. Services will be private and will be held on a daily basis for many years to come.
Roxann
June 22 1996 - February 2,2008. Roxann will always be in my husband's and my hearts as a very special friend. She was my souc-chef, my spur to exercise, my love bug, and my clown. She was wonderful at communicating her intention and desires with a simple "aire snap" or noiseless snapping of her jaws. At this time, she is irreplaceable.
