UPDATE:  Charlie is now Mulligan and is on his way to his new life in his wonderful new home.
Original Posting:  Charlie is a 55lb puppy.  He is about about 18 months year and has come a long way since we rescued him from Spokane where he had a very rough start in life with being a walkabout on the streets of Spokane.  He was so cute and so special, SCRAPS made him their poster boy in their more recent publication.  NWATR stepped in for this darling Airedale mix and provided him with a warm loving foster home, vetting and time to heal.  He still has a ways to go with getting his full coat of hair back but you can see what a doll he is going to be once all grown in.  Charlie is full of energy.  He is obedient when he has to be but truly needs a home who will enjoy training him while wearing him out every day.  Charlie loves playing with his foster Airedale brother Baxter and also other dogs at his daily dog park outing in Anacortes. Charlie still does the puppy mouthing and does jump when excited.  He is extremely loving, craves attention and probably always will. Charley is neutered, groomed, and microchipped.  Please be sure you have an application in with us at www.nwairedalerescue.org and do let us know you are interested in Charlie by emailing his foster mom at dianemh@earthlink.net.  We would prefer to place Charlie nearby for ease of the home visit, placement and followup.  As always with a terrier, a securely fenced yard along with lots of time to spend with your terrier is a must.
