"Bruno" is a beautiful black Airedale X puppy born on Feb.15th and adopted on April 19th, one of Emma's pups, and now living in Canada. Since Bruno arrived at our home in Alberta, he has grown to more than 18 pounds. At first, Bruno was like an "eating machine," acting like every meal would be his last. Now he eats at a slower pace. Bruno loves to play in the back yard with a variety of objects, including balls of all sizes and chew toys. Although Bruno retrieves, he likes to hang onto things, once caught, like any tenacious terrier. Like any puppy, he chews and chews, and chews. Bruno has learned to "sit" on command, with the expectation of a small cookie. He sometimes "rounds up" his toys and places them in his crate. Bruno also greets human visitors to our home with wild excitement and much tail wagging. He is interested in dogs that pass by our house, but will have to wait to play with them til after his 3rd set of shots, due next week. In June Bruno will be participating in "Pawsitive Dawgs," an obedience training program for dogs and their owners which will include puppy play time and a dip in a swimming pool just for dogs. By the way, one of Bruno's favorite pastimes is to get his tummy rubbed. We are sure enjoying Bruno and we hope he likes his new home.
