A move to the Seattle area has resulted in a less than ideal situation for Airedale Leah and sister Airedale mix Phoebe. Leah is probably 8 years old and is a nice not so large size or so while Phoebe is 5 and is also a nice manageable size. Leah will give you a nose poke and a waggy tail and then quietly removed herself from the situation when you come through the door. Her early years situation that she ultimately was rescued from seems to have toned down that high octain Airedale personality. She walks very well on lead, is extremely tolerant of her two year old little boy that is part of her family, and loves the companionship her dog sister Phoebe, a 50% Airedale and Retriever mix. Leah's family is doing the right thing in seeing if there is a better home situation available for their much loved canine kids. Please be sure you have an application in at www.nwairedalerescue.org and do let us know you are interested in Leah and Phoebe by emailing the owner directly at tenille.r@gmail.com. You may also give the Tenille a call at 801 686 8827. Leah and Phoebe are currently in the Shoreline area of Seattle. As always with an Airedale Terrier, a securely fenced yard along with lots of time to spend with you Airedale is a must.
