Maggie is a big huggy bear who, uncharacteristically of an Airedale, is always looking for her next command.  She always wants to please and have a good time doing so.  Maggie has been nurtured, trained and loved in her current home. She enjoys playing with other large dogs.  True to the breed, active kids and busy small dogs are not Maggie's favorite things to have in her daily life.  Maggie is used to someone being home with her most of the time.  She has always been an active member of the family with travels and trotting along during horseback rides.  She loves hotels and is comfortable in new situations and enjoys playing with other dogs.  Maggie enjoys her crate which normally is left with the door open.  We think Maggie would be happiest in a home as the only dog so she can be the center of attention.  Maggie is successfully trained on Invisible Fence NW and would be considered for her in her new home.  Traditional fencing would be preferred.  Previous Airedale ownership would be a plus.  Please let us know you are interested in Maggie by first making sure you have an application in with us at www.nwairedalerescue.org and then emailing us about your interest at rajadari1@comcast.net.  Emailed pictures of the front and back of your home showing fencing always helps to expedite an application.
