This ten year old guy loves city walks, good scratches and massages and being with in the house with his family and he loves cats! He shares his bed with his current cat friend. Charlie has so much to offer. He didn't have the best life before coming to NWATR and his current NWATR home truly loves him but it just isn't the right situation for him. Charley gets bored being alone during the workday and his cat friend isn't enough to keep him company. Charley has a professional dog walker/trainer for a mid day walk and he has learned to be quite the gentleman on lead. A cat loving, great companion on lead, what a special guy. After spending so many years with another dog friend outside, he isn't the least bit interested spending any more outside alone time so can be considered an almost entirely inside boy. He loves to play and definitely needs a secure yard where he can enjoy safely running around and chasing a squirrel or two, though. Charley does well with dogs his size but the small ones make him a bit nervous; not uncommon for an Airedale for sure. Charley is currently with his owner in the Phinney Ridge area of Seattle.
