Duchess is a great young 19 month old girl who is being rehomed as a result of a family move.  Duchess has grown up with a male Airedale and children in the home. The family is in transit with the military and soon to be moving to their permanent home outside of Washington state.  At  75lbs and 25inches at the withers, Dtchess is your typical goofy high energy girl who wants to be a part of all of family activites.  She does well at the dog park and with new dog meet and greets. She will need formal obedience training to allow her to be all that she can be for her long life ahead of her.  Duchess has that normal Airedale prey drive so will not be placed in a home with cats or small farm animals. She is used to being with someone at home most of the time. If you are interested in more information about Duchess, please be sure you have an application in with us at www.nwairedalerescue.org and do let us know by calling Jann Rogers at 206 240 2211 or jannrogers@nwairedalerescue.org . Emailed pictures of the front and back of your home showing fencing will help to expedite your application.  As always with an Airedale Terrier, a securely fenced yard along with lots of time to spend with you Airedale is a must.
