Owner Comments:  Grace and Will are 6 years old and brother and sister. I waited on an adoption list and was very fortunate to get two from the same litter. They have always loved being together with no sibling rivilry. They are very healthy and happy and have never had any problems or broken bones. They grew up together on a 20 acre farm and was around cows, horses, trucks and tractors and have always been indoor and outdoor dogs. They are both loving, committed, agile, graceful, athletic, and love adults and children. They are very used to baths, haircuts, toenails, teeth brushed, ears cleaned by me. I have never allowed them to sleep outside all night unless it was with me. They are well mannered in the house, housebroken since puppies and gentle on the furnishings. I have never had anything chewed on or broken since they were very young. They went through a pillow phase leaving a river of feathers. Another phase was taking turns jumping from the stairs to the bed and onto the floor. They obey voice command and some hand signs. They have been well taken care of both weighing in around 80 pounds each. I have given them high quality dry dog food but mostly it is fresh meat like chicken, turkey, beef, salmon, tuna, cooked vegatables. They love vanilla yogurt for their dessert. They know this as leche They have been my best friends and I cannot bear the thought of  missing them. I hope someone will adopt them both and enjoy their warm love, compassion and sense of humor I will miss deeply. I have owned Airedales before but nothing as great as this pair. They walk in tandum on a lease, lay together in the yard like statues moving their heads in unison watching over the property. When I tell them I love them their tales wag fiercely, as they know those words. They both love the snow but I think it reminds them of the their feather pillow days. They are pure Airedales, they sleep with all 4 legs in the Aire.

Gracie-is a slow eater and has a sweet tooth. She is submissive to Will only at food time to where she allows him to start eating first but they happily eat side by side.  She enjoys the outdoors, but would rather lay at your feet or keep you in her eyesight and likes to sleep close to your bedside. Gracie loves the water, watches TV, watches birds and planes fly over, Gracie is taller and longer than Will but weighs the same. She learned the very first time she was sprayed by a schunk she wanted nothing to do with them, but will spend the entire day watching and waiting for a squirrel to leave the tree. Gracie has brought me baby birds soft mouthed to nurcher which have fallen out of a tree nest. Gracie has a little softer lighter hair and has a white star on her breastplate area. She has figured out what real kissing is by watching. She has actually taken her nose and placed it as close to my mouth as she can get when Im off quard. Gracie is always the first in the bath. When its Will's turn she insists on coming back and watching. Only once did I let her back in the bath with Will. Dont do it, water polo comes to mind. Gracie is chipped, spayed and wears her Coach collar. She is extremely patient in grooming her. Gracie is deeply devoted.

The person who adopts my dogs are getting the creme of the creme.
Will and Grace are currently in foster care in the Salem, Or area.  Please be sure you have an application in at www.nwairedalerescue.org and do let Connie Turner at 503 399 9819 know you are interested in Grace and Will.  As always with an Airedale Terrier, a securely fenced yard along with lots of time to spend with your Airedale is a must.
