Sweet and loved entirely too much by her previous owners, 3 year old Kate needs someone to get her back on track.  Kate is the kindest most respectful girl.  Kate has two life goals right now:  to lose the weight she has gained recently and to remember how she used to love to play with all dogs big and small.  Kate was raised with cats so may be fine with a resident cat or two.  She was also raised with all sizes of dogs but now is initially uncomfortable due to not having any socialization during the last year or so.  Her current size at 110lbs and at 26" high dictates that her new owner will be able to handle her on outings.  She is quite respectful on lead but Airedales are prey driven and can bolt on a moment's notice..  Give this girl a year, and she will be a dream companion for a new home that is ready to give Kate a second chance at a healthy and happy life with diet, exercise and training.  As always with an Airedale Terrier,  a securely fenced yard along with lots of time available to spend with your new Airedale is a must.  Please complete an application at www.nwairedalerescue.org and email over pictures of the front and back of your home showing fencing to expedite your application and also note your interest in Kate.  If you have already submitted an application, please email us to let us know you are interested in Kate at rajadari1@comcast.net and cturner859@aol.com
