Meet Syd!  Syd is a 2 1/2 to 3 year old female who has had a nice stay at our foster home in Tracey, CA and is now ready to move on to her forever home in the northwest region.  Syd came in a bit overweight but is now a spry 80 pounds on a 25" frame.  Syd had to have a complete "redo" on her coat but it is now growing out nicely and will be in classic Airedale shape here shortly.  She is a very friendly girl who is getting along great with the other dogs with the exception of another strong minded girl at the foster home.  Syd will do very well with other fun loving dogs and a home that is Airedale experienced, a home without cats, and one which has had other dog experience.  Her strength and high energy personality suggests she is not one for an elderly home or one with small children who definitely would get inadvertently bowled over with her goofy exuberance. Syd would thrive in a home with a good handler and company all of the time.
