Meet Jack (AKA Captain Jack). This little sea dog is half Airedale, about 10 years old and 52 pounds. In his golden years, Jack was abandoned by his former owner in a rural area. But Jack wasn’t ready for the Rainbow Bridge yet....too much life to live in this boy! He managed to survive alone and keep his sweet nature until he found his way to a NWATR foster home in Tracy, CA.

He excels in resting, dinner and his 1-2 mile walks every day. The Captain enthusiastically lets us know when it’s chow time and is equally diligent in asking to go when a trip to the yard is required.
